Love each other. If we could all learn to love each other, truly love and accept one another for who we are, the world would be an entirely different place. That is why it is my goal to learn to see people as our Heavenly Father sees them, to love them as He loves them. It is a lofty goal, no doubt, but each inch towards has a huge affect on everyone around us. If even a small group of people dilligently strove to love everyone they came in contact with, it would be as if an army of joy was set loose upon the world.

Advice

This one was so good I had to answer it a second time. The other best piece of advice I ever received, was to always listen carefully to the advice of those more experienced. Not necessarily to do exactly as advised, but to pay close attention and give it serious thought before deciding.

Fishermans Friends

The best advice I ever received I received from my father. He told me to be a friend to everyone. The one thing all people want is to be liked and to be liked for who they are.

It’s something I often think of and I strive to attain. It was definitely one of his greatest skills.

There are so many things I’d create if I had unlimited resources, that I can’t choose just one, so here are my favorite 4.

– I’d create a fund to provide financing for very small businesses and start up businesses. The loans would be written in a way that would give them time to get on their feet before they began paying it back, and would allow them to make payments that are reasonable for a small business.

– I’d create a charity to provide money to families with infertility issues to help them get the treatments they need in order to conceive. Many families have the finances to care for their children but not the thousands of dollars it costs to conceive.

– I’d create a non-profit organization to provide clothing for children in foster care. This would help remove some of the financial burden from the foster parents (foster care money rarely covers enough of the cost of the child’s expenses), and would ensure that the children had clothes they could take with them from one house to another.

– I’d creat a retreat home where women could go for a day or a weekend to immerse themselves in prayer, praise, worship, and classes to help them grow closer to God and learn more about themselves.

This is my first ever plinky question!  Plinky asks questions everyday, I’ll be answering the ones I think are interesting.  I’d love to hear how you’d answer the question too!

I never believed in the power of forgiving someone else until I experienced it. I always knew that we should forgive, but I never realized how powerful, freeing, and healing it is to forgive someone who has REALLY hurt you until I actually did it.
